The launch content problem
A typical product launch needs packaging shots, lifestyle imagery, social ad variations, an explainer video, and sometimes a launch film — all before the product has necessarily shipped or before enough physical samples exist to shoot everything needed.
CGI removes the physical-sample bottleneck
Because a 3D model can be built from spec files or early prototypes, marketing content can be produced before mass production finishes — closing the gap between when a product is ready to sell and when the content to sell it exists.
One asset, many deliverables
A single 3D product model can generate packaging renders, lifestyle composites, animated explainers, and ad variations — all from the same underlying asset, rather than commissioning separate photography and video shoots for each deliverable.
Cheaper iteration and revision
If a color, label, or packaging detail changes late in the launch process — which is common — a 3D asset can be updated and re-rendered, where a physical reshoot would mean booking a new studio session from scratch.
Where the savings show up most
The cost advantage of CGI is clearest for products with multiple SKUs or variants, products entering the market before physical stock is available, and environments — like a surreal or impossible-to-build set — that would be expensive or impossible to construct physically.
